DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – TRA VINH
Morning:
Our pilgrimage journey begins as the group gathers at the designated meeting point. Depart for Tien Giang – Ben Tre, crossing the peaceful countryside of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in My Tho, enjoy a delightful vegetarian breakfast at Cay Bo De Vegetarian Restaurant, renowned for its authentic My Tho-style vegetarian noodle soup.
Continue to Tra Vinh, a land rich in spiritual heritage and Khmer culture. The group will visit:
• Sampua Pagoda – the oldest temple in the Mekong Delta, a sacred place preserving the essence of Khmer Buddhism.
• Ta Thieu Pagoda – home to Vietnam’s oldest collection of palm-leaf manuscripts, a precious treasure of Buddhist teachings.
• Canh Da Pagoda – a peaceful pagoda nestled among lush trees, ideal for quiet reflection.
• Samrongek Pagoda – the most ancient temple in Tra Vinh City, an architectural gem of Southern Buddhism.
Along the way, visitors can stop to purchase Sap Coconut, a renowned Tra Vinh specialty, as thoughtful gifts for family and friends.
Evening:
Arrive in Tra Vinh City. Check in at Cuu Long Hotel and relax. Enjoy a wholesome vegetarian dinner at Nguyen Khong Vegetarian Restaurant in a serene setting.
Overnight in Tra Vinh.

Day 2: Tra Vinh – Soc Trang – Can Tho

Morning:
After a peaceful night’s rest, guests enjoy a wholesome breakfast at the hotel before checking out. The journey continues to Vam Ray Pagoda, one of the grandest Khmer temples in the Mekong Delta. Here, within the sacred and tranquil atmosphere, the group will have the opportunity to receive blessings and well-being prayers from the monks, following the Theravada Buddhist tradition, bringing serenity and auspicious energy to all pilgrims.
Depart for Soc Trang, a land rich in Khmer spiritual heritage.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at Vegetarian Restaurant in Soc Trang City, prepared with local ingredients that reflect the purity and harmony of Buddhist cuisine.
Afternoon:
Continue the pilgrimage toward Can Tho, with meaningful visits along the way:
Sam Rong Pagoda – a magnificent temple famous for housing the longest reclining Buddha statue in South East Asia, symbolizing peace and enlightenment. The temple harmoniously blends Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer cultural artistry.
Four-Faced Buddha Pagoda – a distinctive Khmer sanctuary representing compassion, wisdom, and balance, where visitors can feel the profound energy of faith and devotion.
Evening:
Arrive in Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Check in at the hotel and rest.
As the night gently falls, the group will visit Tinh that Ngoc Dao to partake in a Zen Tea Ceremony – an elegant ritual of mindfulness and gratitude. Guests will also enjoy Buddhist Meditation Songs, whose soothing melodies convey the teachings of the Buddha and bring inner calm.

Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Truc Lam Zen Monastery – An Giang
Morning:
Begin the day with a refreshing breakfast buffet at the hotel. After check-out, the group departs for Chau Doc, continuing the spiritual journey across the fertile lands of the Mekong Delta.
On the way, stop to visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, Built in 2013 and inaugurated in 2014, the monastery covers nearly 4 hectares, harmoniously blending modern craftsmanship with the Ly–Tran architectural spirit — curved tile roofs, sturdy wooden pillars, and a solemn symmetrical layout.
As one of the largest Buddhist centers in Southern Vietnam, it embodies the essence of Vietnamese Zen tradition.Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery offers a tranquil sanctuary where pilgrims can return to mindfulness and inner peace.
Lunch:
Enjoy a vegetarian meal at a local restaurant in Long Xuyen, surrounded by the tranquil rhythms of riverside life.
Afternoon:
Arrive in Chau Doc, a sacred land deeply rooted in the spiritual life of the Southern people. The group visits the Sam Mountain spiritual complex, including:
• Tay An Ancient Pagoda – an architectural masterpiece harmonizing Indian artistry and Vietnamese cultural heritage, symbolizing the confluence of East and West within the Buddhist spirit.
• Thoai Ngoc Hau Mausoleum – honoring a virtuous and devoted official of the Nguyen Dynasty, remembered for his great contributions in building the Thoai Ha and Vinh Te canals that nurtured life in the delta.
• Ba Chua Xu Temple – the most revered pilgrimage site in the Mekong Delta, where devotees from all regions come to pray for peace, health, and prosperity.
Evening:
Arrive at the hotel in Chau Doc for check-in and rest. Dinner at leisure (self-arranged).
Later, guests may choose to take a cyclo ride through the quiet streets of Chau Doc, gently immersing in the tranquil evening atmosphere of this spiritual town by the river.

Day 4: Chau Doc – Tri Ton – Ho Chi Minh City
Morning:
After a peaceful breakfast, the group completes check-out procedures and departs for the Sacred Seven Mountains region (That Son) of An Giang — a land imbued with mysticism and Buddhist devotion.
The first stop is Ta Pa Pagoda, gracefully perched atop Ta Pa Hill. Surrounded by emerald fields and gentle mountain breezes, this temple offers a stunning panoramic view and a serene spiritual atmosphere. Here, visitors can pause for reflection, offer prayers, and feel the harmony between heaven, earth, and the awakened mind.
Continue to Xa Ton Pagoda, one of the most ancient Khmer temples in An Giang. Built centuries ago, it stands as a living museum of Khmer Buddhist art and wisdom. The pagoda preserves over 100 palm-leaf manuscripts (Sa Tra) written in ancient Pali and Sanskrit — sacred texts that embody generations of spiritual knowledge. The peaceful chanting and scent of incense evoke a timeless sense of reverence and continuity of faith.
Lunch:
Enjoy a special vegetarian meal at Dong Lai Zen Monastery (Banh Xeo Pagoda) — a unique temple renowned for its vegetarian crispy pancakes, delicately wrapped in fresh herbs and dipped in light, flavorful sauce, capturing the authentic taste of the Mekong Delta.
Afternoon:

Evening:
