Part 1: Ancient Village & Cultural Connection
Your first destination is an 800-year-old village, where the peaceful rhythms of traditional countryside life still thrive. Along the way, you’ll stop at a beautiful bonsai garden to learn about this ancient art and admire its miniature masterpieces. The journey continues to a visit with a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house, where you’ll be warmly welcomed with tea and candy. This is a special opportunity to connect with local people, hear their personal stories, and enjoy meaningful conversation made seamless by your guide’s expert translation.
Part 2: Scenic Ride & Riverside Charm
Cruising through winding village roads, you’ll pass lush gardens, brick kilns, and quiet temples nestled near the riverbanks. This part of the ride is filled with photogenic scenes and offers a rare glimpse into rural life. From farmers tending fields to children waving cheerfully, every corner reveals the soul of the Vietnamese countryside. Let the gentle breeze and the tranquil atmosphere of the Red River’s edge elevate your experience as you ride deeper into the heart of local life.
Part 3: Farming Life & Historic Legacy
Continue through the banana and vegetable farms on Red River Island, weaving between lush rice paddies and exploring off-the-beaten-path trails. You’ll reach the Co Loa Citadel Temple, a historic site dating back to 300 BC, steeped in the legend of ancient Vietnamese kings and their valiant stand against foreign invaders. The journey then takes you to Hoi Phu village, famous for its traditional broom-making craft. There, you’ll observe skilled artisans turning broom grass into handcrafted brooms, preserving a time-honored tradition that defines the cultural legacy of the Red River Delta.
Part 4: Local Cuisine & Farewell
Your tour ends back in Hanoi, where you’ll savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant. To complete your experience, unwind with a cup of iconic egg coffee in a cozy café, a favorite treat among locals.
